I plan to swap my stock Bosch (#0280 150 931) fuel injectors with a new set from a 1996 4.0 Explorer. My vehicle is a 1993 4.0. I am unsure of the part number for the new injectors as I purchased them as new on Ebay and they have not arrived yet. I realize injectors vary in resistance and fuel flow. What can I expect if the 1996 injectors are not an exact match for my old Bosch injectors. Will the car run at all? Run rough? or is this not such a big deal? Also is the noise isolater (large rubber grommet above "o" ring) necessary to the proper function and installation of the injectors?
