Ford Explorer and Ranger
Radius Arm Rivets

Contributed by Unknown

I have been stressing about how I was going to get those rivets off so I could replace my RA bushings. Simple solution: I took my 1994 Explorer XLT to a drive line shop. They cut the rivet heads with a torch, punched them out with an air hammer and replaced them with grade 8 bolts. All for only $28.00! It would have taken me hours and a lot of work and hassle. I bought the new bushings and will unbolt things and replace them this weekend.
