Don't mean to jack the thread, but what would be a good starter bike for me? I want to ride trails and stuff, no jumping or anything. Also, I'm a pretty big dude - 6'0" 235lbs. Or should I stick with a 4-wheeler?

I'm going back to Vegas come January, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to do, besides gamble and drink. I'm already pretty good at doing both. Any clubs, bars, short-term relationship establishments *wink wink, nudge nudge* to visit or anything?

Yeah, that makes sense. But would hotels work the other way? If they can't fill a room, drop the price?

I'm looking at going to Vegas sometime in January, and I was wondering, is it better to book really early (like today), or wait for a few? I noticed that there are killer deals for December right now, so I'm wondering if there will be deals for Jan next month, etc... Anyone know?

I had some 32s on my Dakota 2WD. Put about 35-40K in highway miles, plus some offroad in dirt and sand. When I sold the truck, had maybe a little less than half the tread left. And they performed real well offroad for me.

I was wondering the same thing too. I've seen ads for them in some mag, and they were listed for like $99 a piece for 16X8's, but not on 4WP or on American Racings website. Anyone know anything about these rims?

I'm looking at jobs out there, and was wondering what Ft. Collins and the surrounding cities were like? As in the niceness of the cities, the chances of me getting shot or robbed or getting my feelings hurt :), and the accessibility of trails :D.

Worn brakes will set off the brake light because of the low amount of brake fluid. How many miles are on your pads? And like jrgaylor said, it takes longer to get the wheel off than to change the pads... :)

It took me 20 minutes with a socket wrench. Can't remember the size though. There are 9 bolts on each side. Remove them, and they'll come right off. Just don't let 'em fall on ya, learned that the hard way... :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought IFS was better for sand running/Baja style driving... I know alot of the Toyota guys get the Porsche CVs because they are stronger and give more articulation.

I work on an ambulance, and if they want/need to, they can hold us over and hour or two whenever they want. And they usually tell us at about 30 mins to an hour till off time. Also, 6:59 and a call comes in, I'm on it. Sucks... but I guess it's legal. Just do some research on it.

How much lift does the Perry's Fenders replace, if any? Like, will the 6" fenders replace the need for a 3" BL?
