Hi Guys,
I know their is probably a good thread on here about finding, removing, replacing the bad backup sensor. I would like to know how to remove them and check them. Also, what is the part number and best place to buy them for 2004 Explorer XLT.
I have seen this discussed on this forum before but now cant find it.
I need the lever that controls the blend door that controls the air going to heat or defrost. My actuator is working fine and the door is ok but the lever is broke. Ford will not sell it and wants $400 for the entire heat...
I got a 2004 explorer and it's blowing warm air but seems to be stuck blowing a little to the floor and a little to the defrost. Turning the switch between floor, defrost, or blend does not make any change.
Anyone have this issue with possibly the actuator? Switch?
I am going to mount a nav system and wanted to hardwire the cord. Is there a good spot under the dash to get 12volts? Maybe something with a plug so i don't have to cut into any wires???? This is a 2004 Explorer.
I have a 2004 XLT with cloth seats and the lumbar knob doesn't do anything anymore. It has a cable that runs from the knob up into the seat back. It appears something up in the seat back has come undone. Anyone know how to take the seat appart to get in the seat back to see whats going on???
