I know these newer cars wont run on just the battery like in the past, sounds like an alternator issue, if it were a wire/connection issue it would do it often id think but you never know.

Did he swap those plugs?

Sounds funny but mine did it until i changed the sparkplugs. It acted like a torque converter issue

Got lucky he said the tranny was fine and said swap the plugs , 100 bucks for motorcraft plugs and it looks like it fixed the problem.

Ford manul says nothing about gap just bolt it back in, i heard a 1/4 in is ok

Id gheck the fuel pressure first

You could try hooking up another speaker to the sub amp to see if the sound is still there, also start the car w the alternator unhooked to see if it stops since thats the recent and only change.

The quieter the noise the cheaper the fix, just get a female to ride in it they hear everything, youll be good to go.

I have an 06 EB v8. After searching everywhere trying to get the menu to pull up i gave up. Well on a recent trip i was pressing the SETUP button and after about 50 times the stupid menu came up, i finally got rid of the oil change message. woot!

Speakers are a/c voltage the wires are marked so they are moving the same direction, otherwise you can see wave cancellation.

Its important to get a TC rebuild as it can get bad and flood the tranny with pieces of bad stuff. Also mine had a studder at 55-60 mph So i changed the plugs like others and it fixed it. although one plug broke the tool off amazon worked great thank God!

I wish I wish, the only button that works is the one on the right the reset, i used my Ford shop manual to checkout the wires and connectors and it looks like I need to replace my instrument cluster,I already replaced the switch. ford wants 200+ just to mate it to the Ecu, thats not gona happen.

Swaping diff gears is an easy way to drop them rpms, I wonder if the v6 would get along with the gears just under the 3.55's ( 3.27 or something like that.)

No worky, setup button does nothing, seems strange the info and reset work fine???!

Changed the switch , still wont work info and reset buttons work but not setup, just like before the new switch was there. The wires check out per the shop manual, I cant believe its the instrument cluster, at least i hope.
