Hmmm, what do you mean? Were you using a beta version or something or the current release. Not sure if they even had a beta version out. I am seriously contemplating getting a 2016 Edge Sport this summer. If Sync3 is not ready for prime time I will wait for the 2017 model year. Thanks!

You can also try a waypoint. This could be an intermediate point between your starting point and ending point which would take you the way you want to go.

What we need is some enterprising person to figure out how to transfer the google maps images from our smartphones to the NAV screen on the Explorer (insert car here). That person will make some $$ and we will be free of being tied into what they are selling at Ford (etc).

I have a 2011 Limited and have problems. In Florida now and it lost signal for 30min yesterday . Tried everything and finally pulled off the road and shut the engine off and it started to work again. Very frustrating when my iPhone works fine and the explorer is totally lost.

Drove from Long Island NY to Charleston SC the last two days, navigation on the trip down was flawless using A5 card which I purchased in the fall but just started using. Today it got lost several times....sigh. Frustrating.
