    Left front wheel grinding 15-35mph

First off there seems to be some confusion or I'm miss reading the post, no Explorers have the IWE system that's an F150 deal. It's been said already I'd want to monitor speeds on all four wheels using some sort of live data to see if monitored wheel speed is changing between the four wheels to...

Front Parking Sensor / Fog Light Connector Pinout Needed

I'll see what I can do, I'm a Ford technician so I has access to wiring diagrams, but Ford makes it hard to copy or cut/paste things I might end up taking a picture of it with my cell phone.

    New SYNC Version 3.4.23088

No such thing as "SYNC support" we have a Ford hotline but it's actually going away in the near future, I've spent all day with a laptop trying to straighten out SYNC issues and have replaced many an APIM due to issues.

    Explorer 94 on 37, help!

But that would be too easy! I have solid axle Early Bronco's and even have a couple of extra Bronco dana 44's that have tempted me for a swap and the TTB is better when I like to drive fast out in the South Dakota badlands.

    Explorer 94 on 37, help!

I tend to over build my rigs, I wheel them hard and don't like breaking things out on the trails. The stock dana 35 bearing set up is marginal at best, the bearings are good size but the narrow spacing in-between them is a problem for anything with a larger than stock tire, and tire width tends...

    Moab 2023

Really hoping to make this in a couple of years! The Bronco safari was last weekend and I'm guessing well over half of the Bronco's there were new gen 6 versions and I have no need to go wheeling with brand new vehicles.

Needing some extra advice on my 2011 Explorer

There are two sizes of tubes in the AC system, an easy check is to see if the larger of the tubes is cold when the AC is running, maybe the AC is running but you have a blend door issue. No the front and rear rotors and pads aren't the same size.

    Engine thoughts

Pretty much what I was thinking, I have a new OEM pair of 93TM heads that I picked up off of Ebay for $540 with free shipping a while back. Thought about just putting the heads on the original block and calling it good but I've always heard horror stories about doing that to an engine with 200k...

    Moab 2023

Paul's a great guy he got started working out of a friends Bronco salvage yard (Driven Auto parts) close to 20 years ago. He did some light fab work on a friend's vintage Stroppe race Bronco and has worked on quite a few friends rock crawlers.

    Engine thoughts

I have a set of new heads to put on my 94' (200k) don't really want to risk putting new heads on a worn engine so I was going to refresh the short block withe bearings and rings but came across a rebuilt short block for a decent deal on a rebuilt short block, by the time I go through my short...

    Moab 2023

Hoping to make it in the near future after I retire next year! I spent a lot of time around Moab when I lived in Farmington NM, wheeled an Explorer there and various early Bronco's. The Explorer picture is on Poison Spider, 31" tires with front/Rear LS units.

    Auto stop stopped stopping

(Ford Technician) I see quite a few complaints on the system and it usually revolves around what Ford refers to as "state of charge" I see quite a few vehicles come in and it's at 50% or lower but the owners report no other concerns, I charge up the battery, reset the battery state of charge...

Strut Assembly - Coil Spring question

Coils should be good, I've never replaced any unless they were actually broken or there was an obvious concern like a body lean.

    '03 4.0L V6, cylinder 5 misfire

And if it's driven enough that cylinder will get "washed" and loose some compression as well adding to the problem!

How long should ptu and transmission replacement take?

I used to Remove/install Explorer transmissions in less than eight hours, could do the PTU's in about three hours.
