Sounds exactly like a failing injector/s. I had the same problem on my 95', Truck would run as if it had a miss, and after some warm up time, it would all of a sudden run fine. But, then after a restart after it was sitting for a bit, it would run like crap again... and I have the red top...

You should be able to read it without unplugging or removing the PCM. There should be a white sticker right on the connector. You might have to wipe it off to see, as this is a place a lot of dust and grime likes to settle.

Looks as though you hooked up an audio output on the radio to the VSS... REMOVE THE WIRE ASAP! What color wire from the radio did you hook up to the VSS wire??? Should have been the PINK wire from the HU, to the Gry/Blk VSS wire in the truck... Not sure if you have the manual for the radio...
