New axle bolt recall 23S55, same as older recall?

Had a recall done last year for a potential axle bolt fracture, and they also did the parking brake reprogram thing. Now there is a new recall 23S55 for a potential rear axle bolt fracture. Is this the same one as last year, or a different bolt? Thanks.

Where can I get one of these fasteners?

Thanks for all the replies. Happy to see the forum is active. The M6 nut and fender washer fix sounds promising. Thanks again.

Where can I get one of these fasteners?

Here's a couple of pictures. One shows the fastener, and the other shows the bare stud. They just push on to the stud. They fasten the panels underneath the truck

Electric Parking Brake automatically engages when shifted to park

I had my "bolt" recall done 2 weeks ago. They did it in about an hour, and did the PCM reprogram also for the parking brake. I really don't have a problem with it. Not an optimal situation, but no a big deal either. Pretty easy to get used to, and it works well, for now anyway. Frankly, living...

    Water sounds

Unfortunately, I don't have a garage and have to park under an oak tree. They shed all kinds of crap, and I think enough of it is just enough to slow the draining. We shall see what happens. I know what you mean though, they don't really plug the door enough. We get some serious downpours here...

    Water sounds

No, we haven't had a heavy rain yet to see if the door drains better. But we will, this is Georgia, rainy season is coming.

    Water sounds

On a slightly different angle. I had water sloshing around in my driver door after a rain. It would drain slowly. I removed the little plugs in the door bottom. Haven't had a heavy rain yet to test.

Any tips on air filter change on 2020 XLT?

I must be getting old. The air filter is suddenly a pita. There is a bunch of stuff connected to the cover. How much of it do I have to disconnect to get it off?

Anybody have a strange smell from ac now and then?

Sorry, 1quart, duh. Tank was below min, and a quart brought it to max. Thanks.

Anybody have a strange smell from ac now and then?

That might be it. I added 2 quarts to the coolant tank today, and it really shouldn't be low. Only 7k miles on this 2020.

Anybody have a strange smell from ac now and then?

On occasion, maybe once or twice a day, I get an odd smell from the a/c. Strangely, it's not that unpleasant, but definitely noticable. Maybe slightly sweet....anybody else have this?

    2020 XLT condensate drain location?

I need to know the location of the a/c condensate drain location. I have the truck running now so I can follow the drip, but it could be blocked. Thanks edit: ok, so it's pouring water, so that's good. Still can't see exactly where it's coming from 🤔 Not like the old days when you could easily...

Just had 2 recalls fixed on my 2020 XLT

FWIW, the erasing of the adaptive learning strategy was the best thing they did. First to second shift is much smoother now. I had the transmission reflashed last June, but that didn't improve it like this did.
