Well, I finally got the shift kit installed. I prayed to the Lord throughout the whole time that I won't damage the trans... it worked.

I went with stage 3 all around, mainly because I'm running a stock engine w/ very minor mods. Stage 3 seems pretty slick to me. Shifting characteristics are greatly improved.

Perhaps I'll move up to stage 4 when I do my next tranny oil change.

I wanna say a big thanks to:

oh yea -- a tranny cooler runs around $50 bucks -- is it worth getting even though i'm only at stage 3?

you already have a tranny cooler from the factory. however, you could do like i did, and run an aftermarket unit inline after the stocker.

So i see you finally got it. Was it what we thought it was???

By the way though you do have a stock cooler i would go ahead and get the other cooler for another $45 0r $50. It is wayyyyyyyy easy to install and gives you even more peace of mind.

Well good to hear that you got it finished. Sorry i wasnt there to get your call when you did the other day. GF had me preoccupied. But i was pretty sure it was what we were talking about.
