1997 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0 V8

Hi, my check engine light recently came on twice within two days. Both times it was the same code, "EVAP Emissions Control System Leak (Large)". I cleared it the first time but when I drove my truck the next day it coded again with the same. Not sure if it makes a difference but when it first started, my truck's fuel level was almost empty. Any suggestions on what the problem could be? Thanks!

Kinney, I'd check the fuel filler cap first. Make sure it's secure, and check the O-ring seal. Sometimes they will break and fall off.....
