Hi, My engine knocks whenever I start the motor in the morning or after its been sitting for awhile. Its a very distinct knock which is much louder and clearer when listening from underneath the car. It does go away after the motor is warmed up - a couple minutes. It does not burn oil, runs fine and has had the oil changed regularly. I have read several posts - some which mention Fram oil filters being suspect? (its hard to believe it takes a couple minutes for oil to get to the lifters - the oil pressure gauge goes to the proper reading in a second) and others mentioning timing chain, trying seafoam.. has anyone actually figured this out. It seems to be a fairly common problem in the SOHC.

Thanks!
