Does anyone know if a 2004 mustang 4.6 L V8 engine wiring harness the same as a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer 4.6L V8 engine wiring harness? What GEN is the EEC for the Mercury Mountaineer? Gen V or VI or newer? Also will a 2004 mustang engine mate to a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer transmission? (I'm talking electronically because I know that the blocks are the same, but not sure if the wiring is.)
