New Driver Needs Help W/ Airbags!

I am Relatively new to driving (Less than a year) And i had a car accident that deployed my airbags. The body repairs are done, and i have replaced the airbags, but they are not connected yet because the error code 12 is lighting up on my dash. Will that effect it's ability to deploy? Or could it cause them to deploy when I connect the airbags?

Welcome to this forum! The system shuts down if it detects a fault. Connect everything, and see if the trouble code disappears.

the air bag module is a one time usage, if it deployed air bags, its shorted and wont function again.
