2002 Explorer XLT
I am attempting to replace the drivers side back door window regulator on my 2002 Ford Explorer XLT. In looking for it online all parts depots are listing the regulators to be for front doors only. I called rockauto.com who confirmed this but I think he was only working off what his computer told him. Are the regulators the same for the back seat as they are for the front? Any help would be appreciated !

Before replacing the regulator, have you checked to see if the rubber bushings inside the window motor are bad? Very common problem and cheap to fix!

I have not opened the door up yet. I just know that the window does not stay up and when it first failed the cable was sticking up past the door seal. Where would one go to buy the rubber bushings if that is the problem?
