Ive got some 3in spindles for my 2001 XLT and im gonna do the SOA in the rear. I think i understand it all but correct me if im wrong. I go by some new perches and weld them right above the axle, in the same location as the bottom. Relocate the leafs to the top of the axle. I looked at Dannyboy's thread and saw that all he did was use the stock shock mount and bolted it with the stock ubolts directly under the axle. This seems easiest to me because all i have to weld it the new perches. No other welding or cutting. Does this way work at all, and work well or should i use the sway bar mounts? The easier the better im my opinion. If im missing something in my steps please let me know. Thanks.
