Hi again, Going to check and maybe swap left side head on 99 4.0SOHC...Couldn't really see where gasket was allowing coolant into #5 cylinder.Was wanting to just fix left side as funds are low at present. Set on TDC before removing cam sprocket. Wired the chain guides togeather to hold tension on chain when the sproket was removed, then lifted head off. Is it really important to keep this chain from slipping a tooth or two as long as the cam isn't rotated while off engine?I scribed the position of cam to relocate proper alignment if moved.Also is there a best gasket brand to use with the head other than ford? Thanks....
