I have the kinda "Dream" used vehicle everyone hopes to purchase. I bought my '99 5.0 AWD Limited from an airline pilot who did EVERYTHING by the Ford book!! And gave me EVERY receipt right from June '99 when he bought the thing! I must have 100 reciepts from this guy. Every oil change right...

I am sure this has been covered, but I cannot find it. My rear wiper was working intermmitantly, and now has completely stopped. I hit the gate with my fist and got it to work last rain we got. Is there a relay back there, or is there a motor issue or relay built into the motor assembly?

Anyone here anything about when Ford may be coming out with these fusable links for our CC units? I don't use mine much, but would like to know it's hooked up if I want to! Thanks!

My rear wiper has been working 75% of the time. Las night it stopped. I did a search & saw a relay mentioned. Where is this located? In the fusebox, or ib the engine comoartment? Grazie!

I have inquired about this shock after I changed the 4 regular ones. Someone told me where to find it, but when I looked, all I found was a steering damper shock. It looked like it & they said it would work but I did not get it. I would feel better replacing it as well.

Well it's been a little more than a couple of days but here are some pics anyway.

The first time it beeps, at startup, is proper. The second time, 30 min later is not. I would think maybe a seat belt sensor not working properly, but I would think it would beep again within 5 min of starting to drive. Definately strange.

Well I put my spoiler on today & it looks cool! It does'nt fit exactly perfect & I feel like the tape may give out with a little time, so I used the screws. The instructions say to use a 3/16" drill bit, & with the screws they gave me, the holes were gonna be too big!! I did one & had to find...

Tis a power seat. It reclines fine, I just notice when I have a tall friend, 6'1", sitting next to me, & the seat is all the way back, he could use a little more room.

It seems like my passenger seat does not go very far back. There is a fair amount of travel, but seems like it could or should go farther. Is this the way it is? Maybe not to crush the person riding behind?? Thanks!

Naturally the cleaner you keep your air filter, the better your vehicle will run. 7,000 miles is a good time to clean it. I go sooner due to a dry dusty climate here in Vegas. You can check it periodicaly & see how it looks. While you take it out to check it, with the dirty side facing down...

I think I am more so! You are correct.........& they don't even mention my year either!! '01 is lowest they show......Duh! I would still like to take a hard look & see if I would be able to adapt it to my setup.

I actually have'nt purchased this unit yet. I have'nt seen this one anywhere else though, other than the Zabtech site. This is the only one I have seen out in the fender, catching true cold air!

Take a look at Zabteck Performance. This company was the only TRUE cold air intake I found, actually someone on this forum turned me on to it. It puts the filter out in the fender! Check it out.

I found a couple of rear spoilers online. One is on a Chevy & other is on a newer Explorer. Kinda cool!!

I too have been debateing switching to M1. I use it in my other 2 vehicles. My truck does'nt see any hard work to speak of, I pull my 18' boat & trailer, about 3000 lbs, about 4 miles each way to & from the lake in 115 degree heat in summer. Still though, I would feel better protected!! ;)
