Hello I’m Aubrey, 36yrs old. Im excited to find this form. I never joined one before, but i guess that’s what happens when you get older.
I just bought a 96 v6 4x4 Explorer with 164,000 miles on it. It was sitting for over ten years but it looks great. My wife drove it to california from Oregon with no problems. Then i had a misfire code (P0303) on the way to work. So i changed the plugs and wires and coil pack and had the same result. So i took a chance and ordered fuel injectors and intake gaskets for the fuel rail and intake manifold. It took me under four hours to replace to fuel injectors and now it runs GREAT. i just took it down and got it smogged yesterday and it passed easily.
