Need help from the team.

Just ordered the 7" K&N Filter Charger and 75mm MAS. I have been using the K&N drop-in replacement and did get the performance improvement that I expected.

The question - when I yank the filter box, there are two vacuumm lines, one that gets plugged and the other (which is connected to the air temp sensor) gets moved. Where exactly does it get moved to? If I don't get good intake air temp info then the idle will be off.

Since this is a pretty popular upgrade for the Explorer, if anyone has info on installation and experience with the Filter Charger - I would be most grateful.

Thanks in advance,

Greg

I have had my KKM for quite awhile now. From what I can remember I only had 1 vacuum line to put the plug in. I have had no idle problems at all since i installed the KKM. Hope this helps some. Also what year is your explorer. My is a 93. The newer models might be different. But i'm not sure.
