About a month ago I bought my first Mountaineer. Owned two Explorers before. One 94 XLT, the other a 96 Edward Bauer. This one is a 98 AWD black Mountaineer with 112k on the odometer. With terribly ugly gold pinstriping that will come off when I buy a set of V8 emblems. Also plan on updating the carpet and headliner from grey to black. Already recovered the armrest. I plan on leaving the seats and the rest of the plastic trim grey. Work in progress.
