3" lift 2004 explorer

We bought a 2004 explorer with a 3" lift on it already. The problem we having is after replacing the rear cv axles the drivers side axle wants to pop out of differential. My question is with a lift kit does it need longer axles? Where would I find those?

Your axle length isn’t the problem.

With a 3" lift you won't need to get custom axles. On each axle driver & passenger, there is a C copper ring that allows the axle to lock into the ring gear carrier in the differential housing. Also, each axle is a different length for each side, longer can work in the short side but short can't work in the longer, so it might be sliding out because of ......
