I hit a deep puddle with my passenger side a few days ago and encountered some weird stuff. Three warning messages came up.

"Hill Start Assist Not Available"

"Steering Assist Fault"

"Service AdvanceTrac"

My steering got really stiff which I expected with the error message. I parked it and restarted the engine and all the warning messages went away. Should I be concerned, I've hit puddles before and never had an issue?

Hitting puddles is never a good thing. Obviously, something got wet that shouldn't have. I would find out what all 3 have in common and check that circuit. It may have been a fluke, but I would still want to find out for sure.

Just because connectors are "waterproof" doesn't make the vehicle "waterproof".
