Yours is not the first Explorer-frame swap I've heard of for a F-100, I was reading up on one very detailed thread a year or two ago for curiosity's sake. If you haven't found it already, there's also this Ranger frame swap by @allmyEXes ; you're likely to see where the pitfalls will be for your Explorer frame swap by reading up here, as the Explorer is based on the Ranger platform.
