I had thought that my 94 Exp had a factory limited slip in it. I purchased the Carbon fiber clutch kit for it. Now that I discovered I have a Detroit True Trac in it. Don't need it anymore. Brand new unopened. Factory Ford Performance part # M-4700-C 8.8 31 spline, factory in Shelby 500s $130 or BO shipped 48 states. picture of a brown box with a blue, black and white label available upon request. Thanks Tim
When I built my trail explorer I made a few extra sets of these plates that are used to box-in the open space on the back of the passenger side TTB Beam. This area is highly prone to cracking and is a weak spot where the beam can bend. These plates are welded on and box in the open space making your beam much stronger. I have 3 sets of plates, $30 each set including shipping. You only need 1 set to box in the passenger beam and it is a weld-it-yourself kit..
A few years ago I acquired an A4LD pump housing cutter tool from a small town auto shop that went out of business with some other stuff. The tool has sat on a shelf since then because I don't deal with Automatic transmissions as all my Explorers are manuals. So up for sale is a tool to bore for an oversized pump housing bushing in a Ford C3 or A4LD automatic transmission. A-115 part number. I don't think these are easy to find now and it was an expensive tool. Selling for $40 + shipping, OBO! See photos for details.
**SOLD** I have a pair of 91-94 tail light guards I used to have on my Explorer up for sale. I know these are hard to find and you cant buy them new anymore. I don't plan on putting them back on so they are up for sale. These attach onto the body with 4 screws on each side (not included) in the rear hatch door jamb area and have a rubber pad that rides on the body on the front side of the tail lights. These guards are made of tubular steel and were powdercoated black when new but over the years have gotten scratches and chips in the paint as well as paint fade and have been touched up with some paint in places. The right side guard has a dent in it (pictured) and it also has what I think is a small piece of metal that rattles around...
I was cleaning out an old zipper bag in my garage when I realized it contained leftover bulbs from either my 1996 XLT (which was traded in in 2004) or my 2004 Sport Trac (which was sold in the late 2000s). I think, clockwise, they are brake bulbs (3157), maybe glove box or high mount (922LL), turn signal bulbs (4157NA), the bulb that illuminates the 2WD/4WD High/4WD Low knob, and I think overhead console lights (one looks like it has 3YL 12V10A on it -- the capsule one -- but I don't see any print on the other). They are free to a home who needs them now or might in the future. First reply gets them. I will PM you for your address.
