    Lifted Sport Tracs Picture Thread!

Thanks for the info, I may give it a whirl. How much more lift did it give you up front?

I filled it up last night and it was just fine. Crazy.

    Gas guage issues

So I have filled up my ST twice now and I only get my gauge to read 3/4 full. I know it is filled but I won't read it correctly. Any suggestions?

    Lifted Sport Tracs Picture Thread!

Darkside, I have a couple of questions for you: 1. Where did you get the longer torsion bolts? 2. How much longer are they? 3. How is the handling? 4. Did you do a shackle lift on the back end? Thanks, I appreciate it.

    Shell for my Adrenaline

I have been throwing the idea of selling my factory tonneau cover for a camper shell for my 05 ST. Does any one have any suggestions for which brand or type to get? I will be using mine to camp and hunt with. Thanks for the help.

How do 2001 Sport Tracs handle snow?

I used mine to pull out a Hummer, two F 150's and a full size dodge last winter. Yea, it works pretty well.

    Should I buy?

I have the same year and model and haven't had any problems with it. However, I wouldn't get rid of it. At first I didn't care for the ST because I had just gotten rid of my F150. But since I have added my "flair" to it, I have really started to like it more and more. It also helps to have a...

    Max Tire Size

I run the 265's on stock rims with my ST. They are Cooper A/T's, bought them at The Tire Factory.

    265/70/r16 vs 255/70/r16

You shouldn't have any trans problems, the only thing that you will notice is the noise from the aggressive lugs on the tires. I have had mine for a couple of years, around 12,000 miles with no issues. Just rotate them like any other tire.

    265/70/r16 vs 255/70/r16

I run the Cooper A/T in a 265 on the stock rims and haven't had a single problem with them. The allow my little ST to handle mud and snow with ease. In fact those tires throw snow and mud all over the place, causing me to have to constantly wash my rig. I can still have a decent turn radius...

    Questions

So I am going to go with a no on the torsion keys and leave my TT the way it is right now. I haven't had any issues (knock on wood) with my ST yet. I am looking forward to adding a 3" BL next year sometime and going up to 285's.

    Questions

Thanks for the answers, I still don't quite get why a person would use torsion keys instead of just turning the original heads that is on the torsion bar. Am I missing something. I am not sure what gears I have, I guess I should look in the owners manual.

    Questions

I am not new to owning a Sport Trac, but I am new to making modifications on it. I have a TT/Shackle lift on it now, with 265's on stock rims. I have a few other questions: 1. What are torsion keys and what do they do for you? 2. With all the mods in reference to lifting and adding tire...

    New member

I am a new member as of tonight. I own an 05 Sport Trac Adrenalin. At first I didn't really care for it, but I have grown to really like it, especially since I have started to put some mods on it. I recently did the exhaust and early next year I will look to maybe add a body lift.
