My exhaust guy is asking me for the emission code. he is saying x or y is what he is looking for. he said it would be on a catalyst sticker.... any help guys? where should I be looking?

shackles came in today and I found a set of 31" on CL for $250 I'm gettin them Sat. Hope I can get some time to get everything done this weekend!

well i checked it out today... I don't hear any rattle in the engine compartment. I crawled under and it seemed to be the cats. My next question is, if i get a new exhaust can I delete one or both of the cats that are below the front seat area? I'm looking for the legal solution here ;)

I've read a lot about the timing chain issues on the 4.0 SOHC. I have the rattle but it is only when i am idling and in gear (at a stoplight, drive thru) I'm thinking it's just a tensioner or maybe heat shield on my cats...... What do you guys think?

so i've been getting that "rattle" sound only when stopped (drive thru, Stop Light) I'm gonna order the 00m12 recall kit.. I hope that fixes it

I was driving with out a front drive shaft and didn't have any problems.. but mine is 4x4 not AWD

the 6.0 guys like the 3.5 to 4 downpipe.

so the shackles are on back order but should ship next week. i replaced the shocks up front.. man I think they were the original ones from 97 had to break out teh air hammer on the drivers side on 2 of the 3 nuts/bolts.. soo much rust.. Installed the front drive shaft and painted the pillars...

I have a 97 4x4 that was missing a front drive shaft. I ordered a front drive shaft off of a 99 truck that was identical to mine. I went to install today and the shaft is about 1 inch too short... am I missing a piece? can someone post a pic of their 2nd gen front drive shaft where is bolts to...

nice rig man... I love them strokers!! Stay away from Edge and Superchips on the tuners they do bad things to the trans..

keep the stock intake on that truck, it performs really well even with High HP tunes.. I'm a big diesel guy... i just sold my 7.3 with custom tunes, fully built trans... etc. I know a lot of guys with the 6.0 and everyone say changing the intake it a waste of money... what kind of tuner you...
