i need to know by tonight if my truck can tow another car on a car trailer. my truck is a 97 sport, v6 ohv. the car is a 89 nissan 240sx fastback possible?

I was wondering if anyone has a write up or even a worklog (or lots of step by step pictures) on fiberglassing your radio bezel to a single din. I know a little about fiberglassing, but i would like to see how you guys did it, so when i get my new radio i dont have to but a stupid little kit.

Hey guys, i searched brake dust on the forums and didn't really get an answer. My question is this. Are all explorer front brakes prone to making massive amounts of dust? my stock rims shine nice and pretty when i clean them. REALLY stand out. (i think they're alloy?) But after a few days...

well i went to change out my belts... bought some nice gatorbacks... came home... and they didnt fit... so i said oops bought the belts for the OHV instead of the SOHC... came home... wtf... they didnt fit.... i have a new motor, but im not gonna take my engine apart to see what it should...

my truck is getting up there in mileage... so i decided to do a nice little tune up, cause im doing other things already.... im changing my oil.... im chaning my plugs and wires... and also changing my belt... what else should i do (im at about 180,000) i know im probably getting on...

like the title states, im just asking if this is a sign of a possible problem, or is one in itself.. my engine idles at 1500-1700rpm when its engaged into drive, it drops immediatly to 1000rpm. any problem with this? also im hitting 180,000 miles on my 97 sport... what can i do to...

i have to have like 5 blankets behind my seat because the only place it locks, is almost in a position where im laying down!!!, but thats it, wont even lock really close to the steering wheel, help...

what kind of oil should i use? i havent run synthetic. i wanna know what weight i should use, i dont know really what the differences are... (does it matter what weight i previously put in??) also if it matter i live in florida, its generally hot all the time :D

when i first start my truck, i get this high pitched squeeling (im guessing from the belts)... when im accelerating, no noise., but when im ready at a steady speed(or rpm?) it squeels!!! anybody have this problem?

when i bought my 97' sport... i didnt come with a cargo cover, i was thinking about buying one on ebay.. would it go in my truck? i noticed snaps near the rear passenger seats.,. this for the cargo cover? thanks ahead for your input..

i have a 97 X sport. i removed the 6 bolts on the running boards, connecting to the body... but it still up there, not coming off, and i dont wanna pull, or stomp on it... did i miss a bolt somewhere? anybody have a link to a thread on how to do this, with pics? :rolleyes:

im on a quest :D i want to make a 12 second 1/4 mile dragster. has it been done? i figure, engine swap, supercharger, n2o, strip the WHOLE interior, except for seat, saftey harness, speedometer, tach, and roll cage, lower it for stability contol.... no this is not a joke, ive seen a...

one of my liscense plate lights broke and was pushed through the bumper, i cant get it to stay set cause the tabs are broken, is anyone parting out a explorer, and has one of these? or does any one know where i can get one

i see people with chrome around the grille and headlights, is this painted somehow, or do they buy an aftermarket part that goes right in

i have the 2 cigarette lighters, the first one is next to the ash tray, the second is below the 4x4 switch... the second one doesnt work, the wires are fine, the fuse is fine, is there a "core" or whatnot that i replace?

i kinda wanna shave my door handles and hatch... can anyone give me an estimate on price (with all body work done by me..) and also, how hard is that work, am i wrong in assuming take out handles and latch, sand the area, sauter a peice of metal in place, sand till smooth, primer, sand...

my door ajar light is on, it wont go off, it seems to be a common problem? 2 of my friends fords have them , all 97's... any ideas? solutions?
