Hey, i was underneath my Explorer today and i noticed that the oil pan, and front differential all the way to the drive shaft is covered in what looks to be oil or a black fluid of somekind, what could this possibly be? I am pretty sure the CV joint(s) need to be replaced becuase it has been...

I want to lift my truck with a 4" suspension lift, but the kit is way to expensive, so would it be cheaper to just buy the part of the kit to lift the front of the truck, and then do something different to lift the back to match?? is this possible?

i have been trying for the past hour to get my oil drain plug out, and it's not working...it was stripped, the nut part of it, so i used some vice grips on it, and every time i get a good grip on it and go to twist it all it does is ware the bolt down, it's almost round:( what else can i use to...

i have a 97 5.0 and i need to get a new drain plug...advance auto said they have a 13mm, and a 15mm..but when i tried to get mine off it took a 17mm...what is the size of this thing?!

The drain plug on my X is stripped, not the threads, but the bolt itself...i don't think i did it, becuase it didn't work the first time i tried it, i didn't kno it was metric until i looked and i used a regular socket on it...but i dont know...how do i get this out now and where do i get a new one?

I have BFG all terrains on my Explorer and they loook like their low, but SEARS told me to inflate them to 35 and they say their at 35, but they didn't look as low as they do now when i got them put on...what should they be at??
