I was just noticing the same thing on mine. I have two extra coolers and on the highway it stays nice and low even while pulling my atvs. Once I slow down though and the wind isn't rushing through the coolers my temps shoot up pretty fast. Let us know how the fan works, I may be adding that too!!

I didn't notice any difference at all on mine except it was louder. Waste of money for me.

Just curious why the temp in the pan and temp in the lines to the coolers would be so different?

I haven't seen anything specific but it may be out there somewhere. I put a 3" on my 94 and just took it off last weekend. The key is preparation. Spray those bolts down for at least a week ahead of time and they come right out. The rest is pretty straight forward and nothing to worry about.

Ok, that adds a little more to think about. I didn't really want to drop the extra $$ for a selectable locker but I also don't want to hurt the towing. The trailer is only about 1200 pounds so it isn't heavy. I'm not too worried about tires because this truck will only be getting 5k miles...

Ok, I have searched and think that I am now more confused than before I started searching. I have a 94 XLT with 4.10's and open carrier. My truck is used only for towing my trailer with ATV's to the dunes and then playing in the sand or up in the mountains. It was working perfectly fine...

I usually drop my 31x10.5's down to 15psi. Pop it in low range 4x4 and pull my trailer with ATV's all over the dunes. Just have to watch the tranny temp guage!

I was up there Geocaching with my kids but didn't see any Explorers. Went over to Sand Lake that afternoon and had some fun in the dunes.

I'm going to try to make in on that run. I'll be in the stockers group since I haven't done much offroading other than pulling the ATV trailer in the sand. :rolleyes:

Yep, most of the 92's are going for around 1500-2000 here so you may get a little more becuase of the low milage. I know I picked my 94 up last year for 3000 and it looked brand new and had low miles.

I would explain that you have an Explorer and it is impossible to spin the tires. "It must have been somebody else, sir."

I seem to get 15mpg no matter what kind of driving. 33"s with 4.10 gearing doesn't help much.

I say all down. I'm always smacking my rack on low branches. Those lights would be moving targets if they were up that high.

I have 33's with a 2" lift and 3" body lift. They seem about right to me. 31's would be way to small with 6" of lift.

Put it in savings and then get a real mod when you have more $$$.

I've done it before in a car and didn't have any problems. Of course I never crash tested it though. Just make sure to use strong bolts.

I've been using Engine Restore also and it seems to work like they say it will. I can't say that I feel an increase in power but the MPGs go up a little.

Is the parking brake on? My drums practically fell off once the wheel was off.
