Hi Gerald, Yes, Sandy and I just got back from Florida. We bought a home in Davenport, and are now packing up our belongings. Still haven't found a job, but we can make it out there on early retirement if I have to.

Have you looked at the pads on your torsion bars where they connect to the torsion bar adjuster? They eventually wear out and when you hit a bump will clunk.

The torsion bars are not the same size, so the bolts won't be the same.

I just bought a longer piece of tubing and ran it up as far as it would go up into the inner wall of the panels. that way it could still breath and not get wet.

It was only a 5.9, nobody here in Cali even pays attention to them until they reach 6.5 or bigger. The one thing I worry about is that most states don't have building requirements like California and therefore most of the buildings in other states aren't built to withstand any sort of big quake...
