I am being given a 2006 Explorer, 4.0L, 4x4, clean body, bad trans, possibly bad engine. I currently have a 2003 Mountaineer V8, AWD, body is half rusted away, good engine and trans. How feasible is it for me to swap the engine and trans from my Mountaineer into the Explorer?
