2000 Explorer 15" wheels on a 2012 Escape???

Would the factory 15" wheels (10-hole 10-slot style, if it makes a difference) from 2000 fit onto a 2012 Ford Escape (specifically 4-cyl 2WD) without the need for brake modifications or spacers?
The 2012 Escapes came with 16" or 17" wheels and a slightly different offset, but the same bolt pattern and overall diameter within 1%. However, the front disc brakes are (surprisingly) a bit larger diameter, so I'm not sure if the calipers would then be too large to accommodate 15" wheels.
 






No, the Explorer wheels are hub-centric and the '00 15" Explorer wheels have a 70.5mm center bore while the Escape hubs use a 67.1mm center bore.

However, someone might make adapter rings to go from 67.1mm to 70.5mm, though I don't know about the brake clearance.

The following site is handy to look up and compare specs like this, though it doesn't mention the hub-centric aspect but most (if not all) OEM wheels are hub centric so have to have the same center bore diameter:
