- 2003 Explorer Sport Trac
When my 2003 Sport Trac 4x4 hits a bump or travels on wavy, rough road, the body tends to sway side to side. Drives me nuts. The truck does not bounce front to back but, the sway is like being on a boat.
The truck has 124K miles. Front and rear sway bars. The sway bar bushings look to be in good shape, especially the fronts. I had new "load leverl" type shocks put on the rear end recently. These shocks lifted the rear about an inch and firmed up the ride but, it did not eliminate the side sway.
Anyone else have this problem and what did you do about it?
