Hey everyone I just recently bought a 2015 explorer XLT 4x4 and im sure this has been answered before, but im wondering What is the largest tire size you can fit on a stock 18 inch wheel without a lift?

Can I run a 255/65R18 on my XLT?

I was wondering if anyone has run a 255/65R18 on the 5th Gen explorer? The stock tire size is 245/60R18 and is 29.6"diameter and the 255/65R18 is 31.1" in diameter. I know it will clear with no rubbing but I want to make sure it won't trigger any codes or effect the traction control, ABS, or 4wd?

Tire Size

I've tried searching and I've found a few posts of people with larger tires, but I couldn't tell if there was any lift or not. Will 265/50r20 tires fit on stock 20" wheels at stock height. I'm a truck guy so I'd be all for a lift and bigger tires. However, my wife would not, but if I can go up...
