? about trans fluid change

i got my trans re-built at 92,x.. miles. it has 130,000 now. i been wanting to switch to synthetic for a while. do i just jack the truck up, take all the nuts out around the bottom of the trans and let it drain? i probably will replace the trans filter also. i believe theres only one bolt holding it on? wipe it all out good, then put new filter in. then put the pan and all the bolts back in. drop truck on the ground and fill up with 4 quarts of royal purple trans fluid. then shift through all the gears to lubricate every thing.am i on the right track here?

I know in my 99 sport,I have to drop the shaft that hooks to the transfer case.There isnt enough room to get the trans pan down unless you move the shaft first.

you mean the drive shaft? oh man, i wasnt looking forward to doing that
