I am currently replacing the clutch and slave cylinder on my 2000 sport. Its the auto2wd 4high 4low tcase. not sure what the numbers are. I plan on doing a solid axle swap in about a month and i was wondering if i could run the truck without a front d shaft? i didnt know if the transfer case needs it there...I want to take it out to keep me from wheelin over then next month and maybe save me a tiny little bit of gas mileage...Sorry if this is viewed as an unnecessary thread but i searched the crap out of it
