help! automatic shifter prob

My shifter on my 2001 sport Trac Is losing gears! My transmission shifts fine, but now I've lost access to my part and reverse gear. My shifter still goes all the way up as if it was in park, but it just doesn't go into it. Is it loose or something? I was just hoping for a general idea so either I can fix it or I know what is going on when I bring it in.

there was a problem with i believe a bracket for the cable coming loose, you should be able to find the threads using the search tool, hopefully that'll help you solve your problem
