hood release attachment for billet grille

I need to find an adaptor for the hood release now that the billet grille is on. My son bought the one that is attached with ties and had it installed without knowing of the problem of not being able to get to the release latch. Of course the shop that put it on didn't mention it either. Now that it's on.....help!
