Hoods, ford down Chevy up?

So my interceptor utility is my first ford


It’s odd driving it seeing the center of the hood be lower than the sides, compared to my caddy and vette, even my old Camaro, all the GMs it seems the middle of the hood is higher than the sides

Is it me or is this a signature or something?

Definitely not a signature most ford models are flat or raised in middle, to have a drop center is not something they do often
