Haven't always, but I have been noticing more and more wranglers and, I must say, they look like impressive 4x4 machines! My father actually just purchased a 2010 rubicon 4dr with every option except the smoking option (none of us smoke). the hillside assist, the lockers, the electronic sway bar disconnects, the thing is a beast. Almost makes want to sell the X and buy a rubi.....notice I said almost. ;)
Damn impressive rides though.

I am full on envy! So close to the mountains for some good wheeling.
Some nice looking rides.

Well, how about a couple more of my luxury cruiser...

Harker200910310013.jpg

Harker200910310040.jpg

From the same outing as the previous trip, the trail got pretty tight. Scrub Oak is brutal to paint...

Harker200911150023.jpg

Camping in the same area as the previous pics, just two weeks later. Temps were 5*F and less, with a windchill of -17*f. Slept in the Jeeps. Great steaks for dinner, breakfast burritos in the morning... Good food, good friends, and good times.

That last pic is just way too Cool.

nice photos, looks like it was a good trip. I like winter camping.

I miss my Solid Axles

Here's a couple of shots of my 1986 Cherokee and Cherokee Laredo. Both have the 5 speed and 2.5l engine. My Laredo had a 4.5'' Rubicon Express lift and the regular cherokee had the 2'' teraflex. Needless to say I wish Explorer came stock with atleast a Dana 30 solid front end. Oh well here they are.
