In addition to my 1996 Explorer, I also have a 1995 Mazda B2300 (a Ranger by another name) with what I understand is Ford Premium Audio (p/n F57F-19B165-AE). The cassette player is faulty and I would like to find a used unit to replace it with. In a perfect world, I'd like to replace it with a unit capable of controlling a CD changer but I'd settle for the same unit if that's all I can find. From what I have been able to glean from other posts, the 19B165 in the p/n tells me that it is premium audio (not JBL) not capable of controlling a changer. Does anyone know what p/n I should look for to add the CD controlling capability? How 'bout other compatible part numbers? I don't know if the truck is pre-wired for a changer so any help with determining that and any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks a ton...
