no power to ac compressor

hi everyone
i have a 1998 ford explorer with 340,000 miles and still kickin!
im not getting power to ac compressor,i have check the fuses and relay and all seem good.
what should i look for next? im stumped

Check the ballast on the airbox. Check the low pressure switch if it is low or not working you wont get power to the ac clutch.

I'm thinking it's the low press switch also, or more precise, low on refrigerant. Have someone put some gauges on it to check. If it is low have someone check for leaks also.
