Problem Connecting with Sync

I just bought a 2014 Explorer and signed up with the syncmyride.com to use Sync. When I'm in the car and try and connect, it gives me a message that my phone number is not associated with an account and directs me back to the website. I've spoken to someone on the phone and they ensured me that my account was set up correctly. The guy at the dealership didn't know anything, but thought the services might be down.

Anyone have any advice on how to handle this?
