SAS on a Sport Trac

As Squirrelmaster stated, I am thinking about changing both front and rear axles to a set of Rubicon JK axles. Sounds crazy I know,
I'm going to quote myself from many other threads...
An Explorer is a lot heavier than a Wrangler.

With that said, the front axle will be too weak for the heavy Sport Trac. Especially if you're going with 35s. Like Johnstone said, even with stronger expensive parts in the D44s, we are breaking (mine is broken right now...) shafts and ujoints.

The stock Jeep rear axle is weaker than your 8.8 which is why Jeep guys swap in the Ford 8.8.

Good luck with this. It's about time some Tracs go solid up front!
