Surely someone has done this before. Installed a hidden button to actuate the door lock solenoids unlock feature. I noticed that my '97 has a 3 wire switch accessible from the rear hatch area. My '94 does not have this switch even though there is a place for it.
I simply want to wire in a normally open weather resistant push button to unlock the doors. From what I have read , I need to tap into the pink wire with a yellow stripe. There are lots of places a button could be concealed. I have one real good place in mind but then if I said, then it wouldn't be a secret.
I can buy some switches in bulk if anyone else is interested in doing this simple modification
