Sometimes my 2003 Explorer XLT 4.6L likes to surge when its coming to a stop and then sometimes when the brakes are applied fully but will go away after a few surges. One time it died doing it. Anyone have a idea on what it could be? I plan on replacing the spark plugs b/c I assume it could be that or the trans.

Thanks in advance...

maybe your Throttle Position Sensor or IAC or both.

maybe your Throttle Position Sensor or IAC or both.

What is the best way to clean both of those?? I guess it could also be a dirty MAF.

Check for vacume leaks first.
