Anyone know if there is a repair kit to fix a striped sway bar bracket subframe nut and bolt. I had to replace the bushing and when I went to tighten the bolt, I found the nut inside the subframe striped.

Sounds like a perfect case for a helicoil, or tap the hole for a one size larger bolt.

There is a product called "Nut-sert" or something similar. It wouldn't surprise me if Helicoil didn't make it. But I only remember seeing aluminum nuts in the kit. That might not be strong enough.
