Sounds awfally cheap to me. I'm willing to bet it's locked. It can be unlocked but it would cost as much as buying a new Xcal3.

Would i be able to unlock it by having him put the stock tune back on his car/truck?

Do not buy that. It's an xcal-1 and they are no longer supported by sct. Even if you do buy it you would have trouble getting someone to make tunes for you, and trouble finding the software to install on your computer.

fair enough. i just saw it on CL and saw the price and figured i'd see what it was as i'm not all that sure about the tuner stuff.
