I Am Sure That I Am Having Problems With My Viscous Coupling But I Want To Know If I Get The Transfer Case Rebuilt Will That Include The Viscous Coupling And As Of Right Now I Am Still Driving It About 40 Miles To Work Each Day M-f Should I Stop That? Thanks For Any Help I Can Get:d

I have a similar truck but only 38k mi on it. How do you know if failed? Unless there is drivetrain is binding, wheel hop, noises, my guess its ok but i wouldn't do it long. For my Jeep xfr rebuilt was only $350 and it only covered bearings and seals although mine didn't have a viscous clutch, although someone told me they alone are close $1000 plus the rebuild.
